House – Residential FAQ
1. WHAT MAKES YOU DIFFERENT FROM OTHER CLEANING COMPANIES?
First Up Cleaning Services is fully certified house cleaning company and a member of notably recognized organizations. Namely, ARCSI (Association of residential cleaning services international), IJCSA (International janitorial cleaning services association) and ISSA (The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association). We also hold certifications from these organizations as well as Procter and Gamble University and IEHA (International Executive Housekeeper Association). Our team members are OSHA certified, thereby abiding by the current procedures for safety and health standards.
Aside from our technical skills, we pride ourselves mostly on our ability to grant excellent customer service to give you a satisfaction guarantee for a clean home.
2. CAN I CALL FOR BOOKING INSTEAD OF DOING IT ONLINE?
You can feel free to request booking by phone through our customer service department. A Customer Care Representative will speak to you to verify the size of your home, if you require deep cleaning, and any additional details for a housekeeper to perform.
3. HOW MUCH WILL HOUSE CLEANING COST?
A homeowner can get quick pricing by entering the info for their home services on the booking page and viewing the summary. We offer a flat rate based on the size of the home (includes number of bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.). There are no surprise additional charges or cost for a maid or cleaner, unless you add something to your order. The service pricing will be verified by a company representative once you send us a request or call us.
4. HOW DO I PAY FOR RESIDENTIAL CLEANING?
Transactions can be made safely and securely, either by phone, or via your invoice once its sent to your email. You can pay by credit card, debit card or PayPal.
5. I HAVE A CLEANING QUESTION THAT'S NOT LISTED, WHAT DO I DO?
Contact us, and we will have someone provide you with answers you’re looking for.
6. DO I TIP THE CLEANERS AND MAIDS?
It is not required, but if you are pleased with the work, we encourage it and the housekeeper would be grateful for it.
7. DO I HAVE TO PROVIDE CLEANING SUPPLIES?
No. We use our own cleaning equipment and all the supplies needed to clean your home are provided By First Up Cleaning Services.
8. CAN I GET GREEN CLEANING, ECO-FRIENDLY SERVICES?
Of course. First Up Cleaning Services prides itself on its dedication and encouragement to use environmentally friendly cleaning products and minimize the use of any toxic chemicals.
DO I HAVE TO BE THERE WHEN MY HOME IS BEING CLEANED?
Although we prefer that someone is available to give our cleaners access to the premises, arrangements can be made for them to receive a key from your doorman or some other responsible individual to gain entry. After the cleaning is performed, this person should be readily available to receive the key as well.
10. CAN I GIVE SPECIAL REQUESTS OR INSTRUCTIONS FOR MY CLEANING?
Sure! When you are initially contacted by a customer care representative from First Up Cleaning Services, be sure to mention any special details, such as additional clutter, that should be paid attention to during your home cleaning.
11. WHAT IS A RUSH APPOINTMENT?
A Rush Appointment refers to any appointment that needs to be scheduled the same day or next day after booking. There is usually an additional fee applied when this is requested.

Office & Commercial FAQ
1. CAN YOU CLEAN AFTER MY BUSINESS CLOSES?
We offer ’round the clock cleaning solutions, whether you want someone to perform commercial cleaning services for you during or after your business hours.
2. WILL A SUPERVISOR BE PRESENT?
A First Up Supervisor will either be present or check in to make sure that your tasks are handled excellently and professionally.
3. DO I HAVE TO PROVIDE ANYTHING?
Only access to your facility. We create a checklist and cleaning plan. All cleaning supplies are provided by First Up Cleaning Services to meet your specific needs.
4. HOW CAN I REQUEST AN OFFICE CLEANING OR COMMERCIAL CLEANING QUOTE?
Simply select any of the “Get Quote” buttons and fill out the information. A First Up Customer Care Representative will contact you and send a proposal and/or invoice after your requests are verified.
